Theory Test

The Theory Test comprises two parts, the Multiple Choice Questions followed by the Hazard Perception Test.

Part 1: Multiple Choice Questions
You will have to correctly answer 43 out of 50 questions. Some will be presented as case studies which will describe a scenario that five questions will be based on. You will have 57 minutes to complete this part of the test, after which you may take a break of up to 3 minutes before starting the Hazard Perception Test.

Part 2: Hazard Perception
For this part of the test, you will be presented with 14 video clips. Each clip will feature at least one developing hazard, but one of the clips will show two developing hazards. In order to pass, you have to score 44 out of 75 points.

You have to successfully complete both parts during the same sitting in order to pass the test. You are allowed a short rest between the two parts.
